After completing secondary school, Brenda started a law study at the Anton de Kom University in Paramaribo. She started to work as a ground stewardess during her studies. She enjoyed that work so much that she ended her studies and opted for a career in the aviation sector. She moved to the Netherlands in 2007 and found work in the legal profession. She still enjoys the dynamics and legal developments of the legal profession. She regards working in a pleasant team at Vestius as an excellent step towards self-development.

Cooking is one of her hobbies.

Brenda works for Michiel van Haelst, Lise van den Heuvel (employment law) and for Henk Brat and Paul Hendriks (Corporate law). She works full-time.
